You question is asked in perfect timing.  We recently replaced our last blackboard with a whiteboard.  Now all boards in the library are white boards.  Although, we will not be adding more fishbowl collaboration rooms at this time, we do have private group study rooms on the third, fourth, and fifth floors.  These rooms have flat screens and whiteboards too!
